As a loyal and valued supporter of many of its previous endeavours, ML Events is pleased to announce Rock Oil as official lubricants partner for X-Trial Leeds – round six of the 2026 FIM X-Trial World Championship – that will make its debut in the city’s impressive First Direct Bank Arena on Saturday 24 January 2026.

The first motorcycle event ever to be held in the immaculate city centre venue, X-Trial Leeds marks the series’ return to these shores following a decade’s absence as part of a three-year deal for ML Events to run the British round of the FIM X-Trial World Championship.

One of just a handful of lubricant blenders still manufacturing in the UK today, Rock Oil was an ardent supporter of the ML Events promoted DL12 Indoor Trial that enjoyed three highly-successful editions and its continued support is a huge boost for the sport in this country.

Based in Warrington in the North West of England, Rock Oil has been setting the benchmark for lubricants since 1928 and continues to innovate with its ongoing programme of research and development cementing its position in the global lubricant market with exports to over seventy countries.

The list of riders whose careers have been lubricated by Rock Oil reads like a who’s who of motorcycling with a roll of honour that includes multi-time FIM 500cc Motocross World Champions Dave Thorpe and Georges Jobe, eleven-time TT winner Steve Hislop, former FIM Speedway World Champions Jason Crump and Tai Woffinden and X-Trial Leeds Co-Promoter and twelve-time FIM Trial and X-Trial World Champion Dougie Lampkin.

Rock Oil also places great importance on Corporate Social Responsibility and is a passionate supporter of its local community, working closely with youth projects in its hometown to champion education, employability, personal growth and positive change through its support for local charities and schools.
