The 27-year-old from the Basque country in Spain has made the FIM X-Trial World Championship overall podium on no less than six occasions, including a trio of silver medals over the last three seasons, twice since his return to GASGAS. The only man other than Toni Bou to have won an X-Trial in the last five years, Busto took his first win at Paris in 2018 and has followed that up with successes at Andorra la Vella, Wiener Neustadt and Tallinn, before grabbing victory in Madrid at the opening round of the 2025 season and then again at the penultimate event in Cahors. 2026 will mark Busto’s eleventh X-Trial campaign, having made his debut in Barcelona in 2015.
