With one round remaining of the 2025 FIM X-Trial World Championship, Toni Bou has once again grabbed the gold medal. At the penultimate round in France, he secured the missing point in the overall standings to secure his nineteenth consecutive X-Trial title to confirm his absolute dominance.
The Repsol Honda HRC Team rider has been impeccable throughout the campaign, finishing second in the opening round of the calendar and then racking up five consecutive victories, which allowed him to arrive in France with enough of an advantage to be crowned champion with just one point, which he achieved in the first round. With this result, Bou has mathematically secured the title for 2025, with the final round still to be held in Estonia.
